The site hosts the largest complex of events in São Paulo Brazil, and it currently provides ground for a Convention Center, An Exhibition Center and the citys Carnival Ground.
Oscar Niemeyer's "Memorial to Latin America" is also in the vicinity of the site.
The propose of the project was to analyze the existing buildings and conditions in the site, the vicinity, the transportation system, and land use.
Later on we made a proposal to extend this project, so we could add to the importance of the project and also to increasethe productivity of the existing buildings.
One part of our proposal was to to build a park in the North side of the project and to make it useful for social and artistic activities for the citizens living in the area we proposed an Amphitheater and a public art and open air exibition for the schools and local artists. The other parts of our proposal was to extend and enlarge the Exhibition center, so it could host more activities and fairs.
The next part of the project was to analyze all of the negative and positive economical, social and environmental impacts of the project on the surounding area. With this information we could plan how to maximize the positive aspects and how to reduce and minimize the negative impacts.
The final step of the project was to make an economic analysis and cost estimation of our proposals. By using the GB Tool we could discover the projects feasibility on Resources, Loading, Indoor Environmental Quality, Service Quality, Economics, Management and Transport.
